It was only a cup of earl grey, so it's not the caffeine. Nope, it's honest to goodness, can't turn my brain off, so awake even though I can barely keep my eyes open time again. I don't think I've had one of these episodes since I was an undergrad. As soon as I close my eyes, my brain is off to the races...especially trying to replicate passages of Appalachian spring which I attempt to hum silently and not wake up M.
...and then decide that I should encourage other 1Ls to join me in creating an impromptu interpretative dance on the lawn in front of the law school tomorrow...and then decide that would be a very bad idea.
My pillow smelled like...vegetable soup. Not the grandma kind, but the store-kind from a can...with a little bit of butter. So I padded downstairs in my slippers and heated some up from a can in the pantry.
Why does my pillow smell like soup? Shouldn't it smell like shampoo? Or human head ick? Or Llama-ness for that matter? Could my body be defensively excreting soup smells to ward off evil predators?
...like that bunny that hangs out in front of the law bldg. Its there when I go in...and there when I leave...is that a predatory bunny? or is it just hungry for knowledge of the law. Or maybe I smell like carrots?
Or maybe I should go to sleep for real. Okay
