It was snowing this morning. I got to scrape it off my little car. (It's a good thing the car is little, because I wouldn't be able to reach the tops of the windows, otherwise.)
I read a lot of words today. Words in law case books. I don't know if that counts as studying. I'd better go to sleep as soon as possible in order to shift the cases into my long term memory.
Coro lady Ruth Beamer called me by accident today. (She meant to call someone else). It was nice to talk to her. My question: Did she call my number because a) it was written down next to some other number she was trying to call and just typed in the wrong one? b) it was on speed-dial (which I can't think why) or c) she tried to call someone else with an 816 (kcmo) area code and completely by accident got me. (The only batsheva in town, whom she happens to know). What are the chances of that!?!
I feel clumsy and ungainly in my several layers of clothing, boots and parka. I am klutzy even under the most favorable circumstances, I feel like this a disaster waiting to happen (well, probably not for me b/c I will be well padded and therefore protected from impact, but it could be for the person I end up tripping with hot coffee or some such thing). Would that accident be a foreseeable or proximate cause? Is it negligent to walk around in many layers of clothing if you know it makes you more clumsy?
Need...chlorophyll. Green things...
