Ahem...
Reflected that I am able to work out at the JCC at 10 am on a weekday morning means that my life is very good or very empty. Watching coverage of 11th anniversary of 9/11 caused me to put the check mark next to "very good."
Made chicken soup (Daddy-llama has cold), then cut up veggies for Israeli salad with lemon juice and olive oil. It is very colorful (the salad, not the soup).
Resolved to write New Years Cards. Bought conservation stamps with tigers on them. Cards may not be sent until after Rosh Hashanah.
Went to library for self-help book, came home with 8 Ya adventure novels. Maybe it's a more advanced form of self-help.
Monday, I had my first substitute call of the year, had a great time with a half day of pre-K. We painted, we mixed cake batter, we played on the playground. It was pretty awesome.
Washed and folded laundry. Yay clean clothes.
While watching the TV mini-series "The Crimson Petal and the White" I remembered why I didn't like the book by Michel Faber. Which is disappointing, because "Under the Skin" was so bizarrely awesome.
