Happy Birthday, Gryffin!
A very happy birthday to gryffin23 ! Yay! ( I finally figured out you have to hit 011-44 prefix before dialing your phone number.)
Today is a very busy Saturday. The Sun is shining. The birds are singing. The Kitteh overlord is looking impossibly cute lying on her back inviting humans to bask in her worship. I also just imbibed some very strong coffee (I've discovered I like it better with unsweetened soy milk- if you cut down the acidity with the soy, you don't really need sugar.) I'm off, in a some minutes, to go wrangle children at Synagogue. Our friend Josh K. is visiting this weekend for his cousin's bar mitzvah taking place at aforementioned synagogue.
Mushkie-llama has successfully completed his first year of college (He is a programming god, you see!) and is now home to resume his previous career as a sessile cnidarian. (He picks up food particles as they float by him.) He has also most cheerfully agreed to be my date to "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" this afternoon. (Yay Swedish thrillers! With subtitles!) I promised him that I would cover his eyes if the movie got too gross.
I discovered that after washing my new bra, the elastic *retracted" to its earlier state. Lacking sufficient arm length and strength to fasten the hooks behind my back myself, I coaxed M. into helping me fasten them. I now have greater appreciation for the ladies who had to stuff Scarlett O'Hara into her corset.
