We are the dinosaurs!

There was this very cute segment on NPR over the weekend about what to get kids for a gift. The recommendation: Anything by children's musician Laurie Berkner. The segment included a clip of Berkner's song "We are the dinosaurs" which goes

We are the dinosaurs
Marching...marching
We are the dinosaurs
Whaddaya think of that?

This song was racing through my head all day long.
I asked my sister about it (she hangs out with 2 year old Sophia sometimes), and my sister knows all about Laurie Berkner. "She's got a show on Noggin. Sophia loves it!" Then my sister started singing "My mother keeps a cow on her head..." which is one of Berkner's songs.

"Dude," I thought, "I've got to get me some Laurie Berkner CDs. This is my kind of music!"

other songs I've been singing during finals:
From Futurama Episode "When Hermes Got His Groove Back":
(to Jamaican tune)When push comes to shove, you've got to do what you love. Even if it's not a good idea

And the Tortolita Gut Pluckers (my favorite middle aged folk band from Tucson AZ)
It's not on their album, but I heard it performed at a house concert at Biosphere 2 in 2001. I think its about a desert lizard, but it's not on their album and I can't seem to find the lyrics online.
The refrain goes like this:
I'm (something) as a (something)
I'm sharp as a tack
I'm covered with scales from my head to my back
I live under a cactus, all covered with spines
so leave me alone in this desert of mine

Maybe I can email them and find out what the real words are.
