La Ciudad
Good morning, NYC! I arrived with surprising ease yesterday, was dropped off at my sister's apartment, where I ooh-ed and ahh-ed. It looks a lot like the CU/BC dorms that have been converted from apartment buildings. If this was our apt in 47 Claremont, my sister has ian's palatial room. She even has the sealed french doors!
She also has a very comfortable bed which she agreed to share with me. It's like a slumber party!
We went to lovely little Italian restaurant called "Pisticci" with matt the theoretician- the food was so delicious! I had gazpacho and lasagna and cappucino. My sister had this goat-cheese stuffed fig salad and polenta dish, and we all shared little bits of food.
Since my sister llama has to go to work, I shall be entertaining myself today. Hope to meet up with Ms. Ilana to run errands with her in a sociable way and perhaps scrounge up some lunch.
