lawschool honeymoon

So I think i'm in this law school honeymoon period where everything about law school is pretty nifty and wading through Civil procedure isn't that bad. We'll see how long it lasts :)

Had a lovely weekend. Saturday, I spent the day with my sister, who fed me her fabulous cooking, took me to a farmer's market, hiked with me on trails at Overland Park arboretum, ran away from mosquitoes with me (though they appeared to like her more. Coincidence? I dont' think so. My sister is inherently lovable). We also went to see "Garden State", the film written, directed and starring Zach Braff. We both really liked it. It showed the surreality of everyday life. Shit like that really does happen, that's the weird thing.
Today, I was back in lawrence, studying and cleaning. I love cleaning, things become all shiny and non-sticky from a few strategic applications of Mr. clean.
I even like studying, but maybe that's because of the above honeymoon period. I've decided I love my property book. Its fascinating. I still like civil procedure, too, but I'm not smart enough (or patient enough) to be able to read large sections of it at once. I keep having to look up every other word and paraphrase "lawyer language" which is kind of exhausting.
I've also decided to check out the non-credit aerobics classes at the student rec center (which is beautiful and not very far from the law school).
