litany of unforgivable curses
Evidently certain Israelis have utilized their own version of the Cruciatus Curse, called pulsa denura ("lashes of fire" in Aramaic) to incapacitate PM Ariel Sharon.

The closest thing to any of the Unforgivable Curses practiced by any of my family members is Grandma Fanny's threat to put a Lee Atwater on horribly unpleasant people. (Atwater, a "hatchet man" strategist for the Republican party, died of an inoperable brain tumor after a career of destroying other politicians with rumor and innuendo).
Since using one of the Unforgivable Curses is grave enough to get you into Azkaban, would the Bush Administration classify anyone bent on cursing American leaders as "enemy combatants" and send them to Gitmo?
