melting petroleum-based products =not good

CRAP. note to self: never, ever leave anything on the stove. I am always turning on the wrong burner. i left my notebook and digicam on the stove while i was cooking. stupid. the case had melted (though the camera came out unscathed) and my speech notebook started throwing off embers and liquefying before i noticed the smoke and awful smell. now i'm getting a headache from the plastic fumes. damn.

i was too tired to go to swing dancing class tonight and my foot was hurting. i think i'll go to bed early.
