So all this Lindsay Lohan bullshit...
first off Id like to say that I really DONT CARE.
But I do have an opinion.
I had a drinking problem when I was younger and prettier than her, thats what kids do... they drink and they party while their young enough to do so.
No one would care if she was either a man, a black woman, or just not famous.
Seriously, rappers can do whatever they want and since the media is controled by old racist white men they pretty much dont care as long as it paints a negative image for the black community and continues to exemplify certant social stereotypes.
If Beyonce was doing coke off of lil kims ass crack while leaving a club it wouldnt spark any kind of push for her to go to rehab.
Vince Neil front man for 80's hair metal band Motley Crue fucking killed a guy when he got way too drunk and decided to drive way too fast.
And he didnt just kill one guy but the dreams of an entire group of people as the guy whom died was the lead guitarist for a band that had just gotten signed to do an album for a major label (their "big break") and as this guy leaves SMASH Vince kills him... did Vince Neil go to jail for vehicular man slaughter, did he go to rehab, did he even get a fucking speeding ticket? Look it up for your self.
For fucks sake, just go to any fucking town that has a college and count the number of young rich white girls puking or passed out naked and covered in their stomach lining you find litering the bars and side walks.
The only problem I see here is that America is still lusting for money.
BEING RICH DOES NOT MAKE A PERSON A ROLE MODEL.
Sure a responcable celebrity uses their fame and fortune to try and set a good example for the impressionable masses that idolise them, but its not their responcability to be responcable.
We have a huge market now of much younger kids who are celebrities now and we expect them to act like mature level headed adults when they are given access to the decadence and depravity that fame and fortune brings.
When I was in highschool i drank beer because it was cheap and easy to obtain and later moved to pot because again it was cheap and easily accessable.
I was lucky enough to be poor and average so the level of depravity I could access was fairly limited.
These kids are just being kids and unfortunatly they havent learned that to be a responcable celebrity you are supposed to hide all your problems, flaws, and addictions from the publics eye.
