I had noticed before that I would sigh and roll my eyes at female teenage heroines in stories, but now I've hit that age where I go beyond annoyed and go right into flabbergasted and maybe even a bit angry.

Body image is a serious subject and very sensitive. I'm of the belief that you should be proud of who you are, thick or thin, and that if you're not happy, then you have the power to change that.
