What is your favorite scene/line/eyefuck from the show? Describe in vivid detail. I just watched episode seven so that is what is the clearest in my mind, so I have to say that my favorite scene is probably, weirdly, when Sledge, Snafu, Leyden & Burgin are sent to clear the bunker but Sledge is like "GUYS, THERE ARE STILL JAPS IN THERE." And he's totally right and when they get the Japanese out, it's just a massacre. I don't like the blood in it or anything, but I like that Sledge was: a, really that awesome and b, that trusted by Snafu and Burgin. I'm sure it took a lot of balls to slide right up to that bunker when someone you've been with for two months swears up and down the enemy is still in it and still have the balls to fire into it. Damn. That whole scene is just so intense.
