My design published in new knitting book

Today I got my copy of the book Picture Perfect Knits, sent in the mail from the editor at Chronicle Books. Last year I submitted intarsia graphs to the publisher's contest and one of 'em got picked for the book. I was over-the-moon thrilled. Wonder if anyone will ever make it?
I don't know when the book will be in stores. But if you find it you can look for me. :)

It is a beautiful book-- high quality paper, lovely photos, and fab book design that I've now come to expect from all the books I see from Chronicle. There are knitting patterns and oodles of so cute intarsia graphs for adding pictures to your knitting. Some of the images remind me of amigurumi toys -- cupcake, squirrel, hedgehog, deer, birds, gnomes, jellyfish, mushroom, bunny, ice cream cone! The knitting patterns give you ideas for using the graphs. There is instruction on the techniques of intarsia knitting and how to create your own charts. You can also use the charts for duplicate stitching images onto your knitting, btw, if you're intimidated by intarsia.

Chronicle also publishes many other wonderful art, fashion, craft books and kits. Some craft authors are: Jenny Hart (embroidery), Lotta Jansdotter, Amy Butler (sewing), the Softies books (Therese Laskey), Christen Haden (Creepy Cute Crochet amigurumi). Chronicle is located in the City (San Francisco), and has a bookshop in the Metreon center.

Snuffykin trivia bit: This is the second knitting book that I've sort of appeared in. You can see a (not very good) picture of me somewhere in the pages of the book Stitch 'n Bitch Nation by Debbie Stoller. :) Hehe.
