The momvisit went nicely, as usual. She finally got to meet Jess, but most of my other friends got to the party on friday too late for her to meet them during her brief stopover. The party was super nice...for once I got trashed and it was lovely. An excellent time was had with the folks who came. Grades all in. Better than expected on all fronts. I thought A's were inconceivable, but I was happily wrong. So I guess now I have a masters degree..and will be graduating yet again. Ceremonies generally irritate me, but I'm required to go since my dad is coming up...he likes ceremonies... People have been leaking away, which is sad, but I have met some new folks that will be here over summer, and Jess, Philip, and Vik are ALL staying for the first time yet, so it should be better than most past summers. Olga and Donna arent too far, so that will be neato frito too. So now, I suppose, the jobsearch must get back into gear...and I have to take the actuarials in..well, a week...yeah, so apparently most people take psycho courses for months to pass them...not sure if I can really prepare enough in a week...especially a week packed with shows and graduation...there are actually neat shows the nights before and after grad, so hell, I think I'll do them both...even though the actuaries are on mon and tues after grad..heh..silly kittens! I honestly would hardly care about those at all if I hadnt paid stupid hefty reg fees to take them.. but yeah. Saw the good life and make believe last night. I figured make believe would be pretty cracked out live. My expectations were vastly and wonderfully exceeded. The lead singer is some sort of hippie soulcracker cokefiend. It was glorious. Tim Kasher seemed more chill than the last few times I saw him with cursive/goodlife. He was relaxed and amusing on stage, and the set was nice. I always remember that cute girl bassist that gets incestuously hurled around those saddle creek bands, but not her name...yeah..Before the show returned to the northend after a visit with the mum the day before to munch some yummy eggplant and yummy gelati with rita and olga. Twas superyum! I miss going out to eat...and cooking neat things...basically just doing things is nice...The program really ate my life, especially for certain madhouse stretches, of which the longest and craziest seemed to be the last month or so...mew! prancing time! poof
