been awhile. life has been generally smooth, happyfication with cordeliacore and my friends, annoyingness with clase. last night we wanted to do pumpkinpalooza, but no pumpkins were to be had so we used various squashes to make a yummy yummy meal that ruled. like everyone, im presently shocked and disgusted about the election. it isnt the end of the world or something that will induce expatriation on my part...yet....but its pretty grim. this validates every svengali-esque maneuver karl rove has made, it shoots our international rep to shit, and it gives the man free reign to carry through on anything he may have pursued with restraint last term. its sad that personality cults still rule this country. i go through life thinking of everyone as an inferior peasant, and i guess im right. basically everyone is terribly inferior, and they demonstrated it statistically. i really hope the EU puts itself together as a semi political entity and not just a free trade zone, so it can counterbalance the u.s. its also depressing that so many house and senate races were lost, and that daschle got booted from his post. not to mention all the anti gay marriage amendments. people are so quick to become philistines when fear gives them an excuse. its a pity that there is still such a long way to go in civilizing people, terrifying to think that maybe we are near the celing of mean citizen informedness and intelligence, and scary that the gap between the truly intelligent and the ugly hulking peons is still comparable to condorcet and some idiot shitshoveling labourer. owell. cordelia is pretty and neat, and we are having a party here at 250 B on saturday, ten pm, 5 $ for drinking. so that is good. meow.
