... Wow. That sounds like some epic fail indeed, WTF. (Usually it's Berlin audiences that are like that, so I feel your pain.) And so much "!!!!!!!" to your conclusions.
Crowd chanting "Du hast die Haare schön" (Your hair is pretty) at Gerard BRB LAUGHING FOREVER. :DDDDD Did someone explain to him what that was all about?
And yay for the setlist and the pick! In retrospect I'm kind of slapping myself for not buying a poster, they were pretty cool (though I like the ones with the US or UK flags better.)
lol yeah he was like "What do you guys want. Someone translate!" and hat someone from first row translate it to him. I mean, explaining the whole backstory would be a little too time consuming, but maybe someone did after the show. But afterwards I thought that he was kinda right with the aggressive chanting. If you do not know what someone's screaming at your face it can get really scary lol He kinda liked it though, and wanted someone to teach him afterwards.
I also bought the Visions cover poster (did they sell it in Berlin or just in Dortmund, because it was sponsored ? IDK) I would've loved an UK poster ♥
Oh God, so glad it wasn't only us that had this expression! Front row was pretty cool especially near the mosh-pit but there were still some stupid people like one guy I was standing next to for a song wouldn't stop screaming "We're here for some emo music!!!" and I was like "Dude, wrong conert?" *headdesk*
ahh I didn't get that he was english at first because I got my shirt when no one was there and he seemed to understand me just fine lol poor him
we spent like ... more than 7 hours on the road (instead of planed 4.5). It was awful. Lots of traffic jams boo :( I hope they will come to Switzerland next year, Zurich or Basel are a lot nearer than Dortmund.
I'm not really good with lyrics either but at least I enjoyed the new songs. People around me weren't too happy, though. when they played sing a couple next to me was complaining about it through the whole song :( The set list was perfect, though. It was such a good mix of fast songs, and slow songs and from every album. It made me sad, that people didn't appreciate it.
The location was awesome! I especially liked that they had three separate rooms for the bands.
I was thinking about buying the hoodie but I didn't have enough money left :( I'm gonna order it via their homepage as soon as I got some money, though. It looks awesome ♥
