Taking an Initiative

Not the grand ultra-meta debut post, but I figured that since the purpose of this comm was to cut down on off-topic comments by making them their own posts, here's some interesting stuff I found.

Bloody Letter 4.0(K bites)
WTF. Really, crazy 2PM fan, really?(Or at least a crazy 2PM is the most likely suspect, given the backlash against Yoona-Taecyeon) Not only is your picture obviously not blood, you're actually threatening YoonA of all people? It'll do more damage to 2PM's credibility than anything. Not to mention they could easily find the person by tracking the uploader's IP address. FAIL.
So much fail, in fact, and given the fake-ness of the letter/photo, that it might be just a troll like the YG fan posting SNSD Blackout rallies in the Shinee forum. This is just beyond stupid, especially post-Gee.

MM are wota(On-Diet)
This is a given, as I'd say 4th gen and up would all be MM wota of the highest sort, so devoted that they dared to become the ones they worshipped.
But this is more relevant wota-dom, as Sayu reports that MM is on a Kpop kick.(Mostly thanks to Reina, from what I've read elsewhere) She specifically mentions DBSK and Big Bang, but we know that Yaguchi has a Kara CD thanks to her co-worker, and part of SNSD's Asia tour includes a Japan stop, so obviously SM believes they have enough of a fanbase there to warrant a concert.(I wonder what the avenue will be, though. Theater or small arena like current H!P, or will they go for one of the big domes? It'll be surreal if they go for Saitama Super Arena.) I wonder if their new fandom is just with Japanese releases, or if they've explored further and found the girlgroups.
Wowie that might just destroy their self-esteem, though. I don't know that any truly successful J-girlgroup has ever been able to shake off girl-next-door marketing. dream used to be a vocal powerhouse, but then they tried to emulate MM by adding a bunch of members. Maybe SPEED? I never go into SPEED though, so I don't know if they broke the mold. Current most popular traditional J-girlgroup AKB48's best vocalists are better than Sohee but still beind Kara, and they certainly don't have the dance training or chops to make up for it. UFA is aware of Kpop's successes, and apparently lots of the new H!P Eggs have decent vocals, but even SweetS, a group where I believe Avex very carefully groomed its talent to build the most talented roster, have vocals no better than Amuro Namie's. Why is it so hard for them to find real double threats? There are only a few isolated examples of double or triple threats on the male side, and DBSK and Big Bang's members still blow them away.
Back on topic: Oddly enough,  Sayu is the one not going with the trend, instead becoming a fan of a former Youtube fan-dancer. She's also been the MM member known for being fans of other J-idol groups like Idolling!!!. Lots of Idolling!!! and AKB48 members have in turn admitted to being H!P fans as well. Hmm.

Rankings!(K-bites from Sosiz, translated version from SSF)
Ugh, I can't find the translated version anymore. Anyhow, I thought some of the personality rankings didn't make sense, but to each his own, I guess. Some of the commentary was also amusing.(And familiar, lol at suspicious dandyu stats) But isn't the first timeline one wrong? Sooyoung got the ASAYAN audition after she joined SM. Hyoyoungsica are generally the ones considered the 7-year trainees, followed up by Seohyun and THEN Yuri. They have a bitch ranking too, lol. One I don't agree with, but it's funny that we're not the only ones who considered it. Ugh, can't write much more until I find the translation again. But I remember being rather confused by the one where the commentary goes "Hyoyeon somehow advances halfway no matter what". What?
