Title from reading some "What it means to be a fan" idiocy on SSF.
This is awesome. I was all 8D watching this where I was just all XD watching the Legally Blonde showcase. Holy crap, R, part of your revue is fulfilled. Now when if Yoona gonna star as Danny in Grease!? >:|
Tiffany's line in Gee has always been my favorite part of the song, and here I finally hear that tone again. All that power is what tells me the song is about ambition, even as I can't understand the lyrics and the composition is sultry-based. And of course just the general awesomeness of Tiffany taking on the title song belting like a BAMF. This is why I slotted her in to sing "Some People" from Gypsy. If she really chewed into the compressed fury in that song-- I get shivers just thinking about it.
Although, reading the plot synopsis, I really wanna see a fancam of "In LA" now. *snort* Entirely too many layers of irony in that sentence.
And damn I need a fancam of Tiffany doing that awesome choreo from the Fame number. Unless they'll switch out the Carmen for that part every time?
Can't not see Aichan as Carmen now.
EDIT: I looked up the original cast recording for both "There She Goes/Fame" and "In LA." While I'm sure the original actress for Carmen was a great dancer and actress, not so much a great singer, and definitely not the belting type either. Have to prefer Tiffany's version at the moment.
Oh yeah, and there's a bit of fandom talk in the comments. That, as we do, devolves into crack.
