(Currently watching the PV without any sound XD)

So huh, they kept the same basic concept, but tweaked it a bit. But wait, are they rival store owners with Minho? This seems like a fanfic waiting to happen, btw, like a SHINee store and an SNSD store, with romance and teaming up against a big bad - sorry, got carried away for a second XD Anyway, looks like they're dream is to make clothes for their dream guy?

Not really diggin the styling. I love Sooyoung's hair, though - it's grown on me. Still want Sica's hair to be darker and not have those crazy curl at the end DX The colors are fine and all ... I'm just not a fan of the polka dots and plaid...

What's up with SM using so much Matrix-y camera work? And what was up with that dress up sequence anyway?

This PV gives a more "polished" feel than the original. For me, the original MV felt more fresh. (There were some shots that made me think, "Gosh, they must be tired...") But I did like the new group interactions! And I'm not surprised that they kept the white t-shirt pajama party scene XD

BTW, did I mention that Hyoyeon looks pretty? 8D? She and Sooyoung are the ones I really liked in this PV~~~~~~




- A lot of the major editing is the same, close ups and catching certain choreo - it was surprising how well things matched up for the most part.
- New duo interactions, but the MV had more group shots, especially with whoever's singing in the foreground and the others giving their reaction in the background (which was always entertaining XD)
- I think I like the white background group shots in the MV better than the PV. The extra color in the MV made them stand out more and you could differentiate between them better, as opposed to the PV where everyone's in the same outfit.
- Many of the girls's expressions/personalities seem toned down, almost calculated in the PV. Granted, the girls know exactly what the audience likes since they're already promoted this song...
--- I liked Sunny and Jessica better in the MV, Sooyoung's still flawless in both, Hyoyeon's wonderfully saucy in the PV, Taeyeon looks almost matronly in the PV, I miss Tiffany's look in the MV (and her pout at the end of the MV XD)...
- I'm amused that the white shirt pajama party section is almost exactly the same. The line up is the same, the feeling is the same - but there's a light flare in the PV. Wonder why?
- The bag thing was pretty cute, though it makes me think that they'll come alive - but that's a fanfic for another day XD

I think SM was smart to make both the Gee and Genie PVs different from the original MVs, but I expected a little better since this is the 2nd time around for both songs. You'd think they'd have noted what could have been improved and then *gasp!* actually improved them with the PVs. -_-; That being said, hope the girls don't get too tired out jumping between Japan and Korea o_o!
