So you want to know if Hyo is a brand name whore?
uyeni identified this
handy-dandy bag as a Balenciaga . . . and I almost had a heart attack when I plugged it into google. Boys and girls, if you want this girl, you better work! $$$ (Hyo's beloved pink backpack, which we saw her touting around on "Infinity Challenge" and then in that
behind-the-scenes

Is it . . . an April's Fool joke? Would one fan dedicated his/her time writing long text (or you might call it "fic"?) about the least popular SNSD member (+Yul) just to fool other fans? I think not but who knows? XD
But if it's true, I really want to know what Hyo would tell. That girl has many stories to share but would she feel self-conscious too much to tell all parts of it?
I agree that Seobaby is opening up more and more these days which is really good sign. But also have doubt like AG that it could be part of her crafted persona too. Hmm, I don't know how differently she is with her unnies compare to what we see in front of the camera but I would guess that it's around the same level of comfortable as Taeng's and Sunny's? Maknae is too self-discipline to fall over everybody like Sica or let everybody fall over her like Hyo. XD She's also self-conscious and have self-esteem that prevent her to be as outgoing as YoonYulFany or as outspoken as Soo. She might calculates her actions a bit but also has quirky and tough side of her (like Taeng and Sunny.) This sounds confusing now, I'll stop here. XD
That RDR fancam. <3 SNSD never fail to amaze me with their teamwork. <3 Seeing 9 girls dance in sync like that is really beyond words. <3<3<3
And whatonemore and AG, about HyoSica theory, it's just my observation from both international and Korean fansites that Sica fans seem to have soft spot for Hyo. I mean I found at least 2 Sica fans pimp Hyo pics and stories in their fansites. I also normally find Sica (along with Fany and SooYoung) fans say good things about Hyo or respect her skills or rarely say bad things about her in intl sites. Not that other girls fans don't do that but the amount of Sica fans with those kind of actions caught my attention.
I think there were another few little things too but I can't remember now (Hey! JKO is one of the living proof for us. XD) But I don't have any explanation as to why the fans feel that way. Maybe it's the old roommates love? Like they're two longest training members, they're among the ones who have the most haters since their early days and who can forget that touching moment from GGTS? Sica fans might feel connected to Hyo through their favorite girl or they feel like these two have mutual understanding or special bond though both are so different in many ways. And now that Sica interacts with Hyo with cutenes, who can resist this adorable violent pairing?
Nah, I don't know anything, it's just my hypothesis. XD

Never underestimate the lengths people go for April Fools jokes. Although that makes me sad that we might miss epic HyoRi on SH, espc since the hosts would probably demand dancing. :D
Maknae is too self-discipline to fall over everybody like Sica or let everybody fall over her like Hyo.
Touching: Seo does not want.
As for the rest, Maknae is an onion idol. Or a parfait idol. Or ogre idol. Whatever you wish for your layer-metaphor. All delicious, except for maybe the ogre, but then again I thought roasted snail was pretty good, so who knows? :P
Your theory: Ahahaha, I've been calling Jessica-Sooyoung-Hyoyeon connections the Senior Trainee Alliance after the stories about their taking over the SM trainee scene.(And then Yoona coming along and messing things up XD) Plus they are all violent and cute(sometimes at the same time!?) with each other. I guess the fans feel the same way. <3
And if it's about them being roommates, then Sooyoung should also start getting Sica-fan support now anyway. XD The STA is REAL!

Seobaby has moments where she's more touchy-feely than I expect her to be, like when she had cold hands during a radio show (SSTP?) and Hyo warmed her up. XD I think she's also prone to smacking in admonishment too--I've seen her go to smack Hyo a time or two for her exasperating ways (I think she tends to pull her smacks, though, as opposed to Sica who'll just whomp Hyo if need be). "Unni~~~~~~"
The thing with the Senior Trainee Alliance is that, like I said to CP, I don't picture that trio being actually close. They know each other and are familiar with each other, but I have a hard time seeing any one of those three really opening up to any of the other two, but this sort of distance of private thoughts and feelings is balanced out by the long time acquaintance period that they have with each other. Which is probably why everything translates into violence, snark, and physical affection between them.

Besides, because they were the Senior Trainees they would have to have friendships steeped in respect for each other, having spent at least five years of that time viewing each other as rivals as well.
This is why the pre-debut dynamics fascinate me so much, because there is the competition aspect overshadowing everything. And in every competition-based activity I've done a mental hierarchy is established evaluating other teams'/people's skill level, and it does affect how I would interact with that team/person.
So it wouldn't have been just a matter of being them being the longest-trained trainees, but also being the best of them. Like how Hajin said her debut as a part of SNSD was all but assured before she dropped out, we know that SooHyoYoonYulSeoSica were shoo-ins for SNSD, and they would have known it too. And yeah, the people at the top do tend to treat each other with a little more distance.(Not that you'd be able to tell it when Hyoyoung are all over each other in HB XD) All of the Soosica cross-complimenting points to that as well, in that yeah it might have been some fishing for a return compliment but also just that they do know each others' strengths(and weaknesses) to easily cite.
(I suspect I'm doing too much self-projection above again though. Ugh, fucking manipulative idol system.)
