I'm going to give the girls and SM the benefit of the doubt and assume that the MV was meant to be tongue-in-cheek a la "So Hot," or better yet, Judy:
But even if it wasn't, Seo is the most inadvertently HILARIOUS thing ever in the MV. Even more hilarious than her simpering tour de force in Oh! She perfectly embodies the parodic HAM Judy is doing above.
Taeyeon was magnificent as usual, but also took a page out of Jessica's lazy handbook and danced below her level because She's A Boss like that. You can tell that she's enjoying not being obliged to cutesy it out but is throwing in little cutesy faces and gestures anyway as a method of sass, not appeal. This still isn't quite what she wants to be doing in her career at this point, but it's better than what normal SNSD's giving her, so she's just enjoying herself with it.
Sorry Tiffany, but I felt like you played it straight, and were thus the most boring part of the MV.
I just realized, I AM DISAPPOINT by how simple this bass part is. All of the fun went to the clavichord. And where's my too-good-for-this-shit Jpop epic guitar solo? Ah well, the eventual bass cover should beepic.
taeng was good for most part but seemed lazy. maknae shld be commended, cuz at least i rmb her being all kinds of awkward. and yes fany i don't even rmb what she did other than wink..
I think I may gif the MV in all of its Seo-not-realizing-how-hammy-she's-being glory. There was this one JAZZ HANDSSSSSSwithaglare moment that had me just about face palming in laughter.
