specific fic search
Hi! I've been rereading a lot of my old favorite sasunaru fics, and there's one specific story that I haven't been able to find. It's at least several years old, but I hope it's still around!
It was a sad story with a twist on ff.net, and I believe a one-shot (probably no longer than 5-7k words). I don't quite remember if it was a pairing fic, but it was definitely focused on Sasuke and Naruto.
What I do remember is that it started with "Naruto" back in Konoha after being at Orochimaru's trying to get Sasuke back - his name wasn't mentioned, but his blue eyes were. The story continued for awhile while the reader found out what had happened, but it turned out that "Naruto" was actually Sasuke. Naruto had transplanted his eyes into Sasuke to stop Orochimaru from taking Sasuke over, and therefore Naruto had Sasuke's eyes.
I think Orochi ended up possessing Naruto's body and Sasuke had to deal with the emotional fallout of Naruto sacrificing himself.
