You can travel back in time five years; what's one thing you'd say to yourself?
Choose a university that doesn't suck. Don't be afraid to try hard things. Hurry up and get a better job before the economy goes in the toilet. Learn some Spanish already.

What did you last eat?
Pizza: one slice various meats, one slice spinach alfredo.

What kind of books do you read?
Nowadays it is like pulling teeth for me to read anything period -- tragic side effect of being an English major? Or tragic side effect of just being mentally lazy? In general, though, things I like: some scifi (but less with the action-y, more with the "like our world, but not" -- i.e. anything by Philip K. Dick), some pulp crime fiction (i.e. anything by Dashiell Hammett), "classic" lit that I keep trying to catch up on (i.e. anything on those "100 Books Every College Student Should Read" lists; better late than never, right?).

What are you reading right now?
Anthony Trollope, He Knew He Was Right. I AM NEVER GOING TO FINISH THIS BOOK, AUGH, it's due back tomorrow and I'm only on page 103 (I mean... I can renew it, but I'll probably have to renew it like ten times to get through the whole thing). So far I really like it, but I need to make the time to sit down and read more than five pages at a time. Also, as facebook just reminded me, I still need to finish this graphic novel. I'm kind of having a hard time getting into the episodic nature of the storytelling, but the art is fairly awesome.

If you could be anywhere right now, where would it be?
In bed. Or in front of the TV catching up on my Lost rewatch.

What's really creepy?
Goats.

Name one odd item within five feet of you.
A used book from the 1970s about macrame that my mom bought me. YES FOLKS, THAT'S RIGHT, I'M TOTALLY GOING TO MAKE MUCH'S RAINBOW MACRAME SWEATER.

What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
Somehow, Robin Hood, still. Merlin except to a lesser extent these days because I'm having trouble reconciling my squee and my headdesk reactions. Gearing back up for LOOOOOST.

What did you really want to do today that you didn't?
Um, nothing so far? I just got up less than an hour ago.

What are you most excited for?
CHRISTMASSSS except not really because I still haven't been able to process that it is in one week. Whaaaat. Probably doesn't help that my next day off of work is, uhh... Christmas Eve, giving me oh-so-much time to get things sorted.

What websites do you always visit when you go online?
gmail, facebook, livejournal, gofugyourself, FIDM museum blog

What was the last thing you bought?
Gas. I'm so boring. And I can already tell you the next thing I'm going to buy after work today: a loaf of bread! ...I'm so boring.

What do you want right this minute, off the top of your head?
Money. That was easy. :/

What's your biggest procrastination method?
This right here. Oh the time I waste on the internet...! Also, organizing. If I ever have to start on a project, rather than just starting it, I'm like, "Oh, wait, first I have to get all of my materials organized, and then I have to clear out this entire area even though I know I need nothing from it, and then I have to sort through blah blah blah that has nothing to do with anything..."

Anything you regret about 2009?
Hahahaha. That would be... yes. Um. My inability to be a functional adult? Maybe?

Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter?
Spring
