My Lost rewatch continues... should I really cut for spoilers if I'm only talking about episodes that are at least four years old? It's just such an ingrained habit, though!

O ho, the insanity that is going back and reevaluating everybody in light of how I feel about them now! I actually first got into the show mostly for Dom (LotR withdrawal, what can I say) but by about early/mid-S2 started to find Charlie really obnoxious... but hey, guess what? He was actually really obnoxious from the beginning as well! I guess I just wasn't paying enough attention. I mean, I still anticipate that I will bawl through all of "Through the Looking Glass" anyway, but more in a this-is-an-emotionally-satisfying-end-to-a-character than in a wahhhhh-my-life-is-over way. I guess I mean to say that I still like Charlie's place in the story even if I find him annoying as a character? Plus it's kind of fun to count down every single time he has a near-death experience (there are... lots).

Another possibly unpopular fandom opinion: I just don't like Libby that much. Ehh. Mehhh. Whatever. And I still like Ana Lucia. DOUBLE WHATEVER.

Unanswered question #5841: what was up with that glass eye in the Arrow station? Seriously now.

I'm still getting caught up on how much I want certain people to have happy endings. Sun/Jin? Please please pleeeease. Michael/Walt? Probably never gonna happen now, but arrrghhhh the end of "Special" is just like, yeah, go ahead and break my friggen heart, why dontcha.

It's weird watching a Ben-less show.

Rather unexpectedly, I've been getting much more into the love multi-sided figure this time around. Before I was somewhere between seriously-do-not-care and leaning Jack/Kate (...dude, don't judge me), but now I've been veering into, well, not even just Kate/Sawyer but, like, Jack/Kate/Sawyer as a legitimate OT3. Whaaaaat is going on there, oh brain of mine? My reaction is supposed to be, "Keep your damned romance drama to yourselves, and meanwhile I'm gonna go blow up a submarine/fight with a smoke monster/have a shoot-out with Keamy/do ANYTHING OTHER THAN focus on the love subplot because everything else is so much more interesting." I'm supposed to watch "What Kate Did" and be rather skeeved out that Kate approaches her love interests as My Two Dads Who I Want to Have Sex With. Instead, I'm like... OMFG I SHIP IT.

...Yeah.

ETA: Aaaand then I had to go and watch "The Hunting Party" and ARGH JACK WHY DO YOU HAVE TO RUIN EVERYTHING BY BEING AN ASS. And then I'm sure once I get to "The Long Con" I'm going to follow this up with ARGH SAWYER WHY DO YOU HAVE TO RUIN EVERYTHING BY BEING AN ASS. Sighhhh.
