Well, its February 3rd and around 60 degrees outside. Global warming is a pretty terrible thing, but coming out of school and being welcomed by a warm breeze is not so bad.
I compulsively picked up 'salem's Lot at the library (which is now just down the street) and began reading it. Now I can't put it down and have 350 pages to read in a couple days. Yesterday I happened to the library again (this time with Jack Sweeney) and saw the more recent mini-series adaptation and couldn't resist. Well, when I'm done with all this Stephen King sacreligious nonsense, I think I might start on Theophilus North, the Thornton Wilder novel.
If anyone wants to do anything with me this weekend, particularly saturday/saturday night, they should call or comment or whatever. I know it's pretty difficult to contact me what with having no solid home phone and no internet connection, but...if anyone wants to do anything, you know what to do, maybe to the city or something.
Does anyone remember when Sundays weren't occupied with hangovers? I sure don't.
My life is almost never as bad as I tell people it is.
