time to pack!!
so far, everything is going wonderfully as planned with the house. i put in my 30 days to break my lease at the square last week, but they told me i'd still have to pay until someone rented it out. that was kind of disappointing to hear, b/c i'd have to move out so they could clean, pay on an apt with no one in it, and then just wait...but, i got GREAT news today. office called me and they've already found someone that wants to sublease it..and they wanna be in by march 25Th! that's before my 30 days is even up, which i dont mind at all, b/c it means i dont have to pay april rent :)
i checked out a few more houses in the twp to get a feel for the price range of the house that i want. and i'm still in love. this house has more and cost less than all the others i've seen. so my realtor and i decided to sit down this week and make an offer!!! hopefully all goes well with that and they accept my offer, or we find a happy middle ground. with the way things are going, i'll definitely be in my house by my birthday! talk about a great bday present.....hehe :)
to add to all that good news ~ i called the big sis program today to check on the status of my account, cuz i have yet to get a kid...and i get a little this friday! i'm so excited about that. the girl is 6 years old, and her name is arnyesha. i cant wait to meet her...but i have no idea where i'm going to take her for our first outing. i'm suppose to take her somewhere and see if we get along...etc, etc. but she lives on 12th street, which is on the east side, and i have no idea what is over there...or where to go that's safe. if anyone has ideas bout that one , please let me know before friday!
plans for the australia trip are in motion, but hollie is having doubts that we'll be able to make it. i think we can. we've got a guy checkin in on some cheap tickets for us, so that could be a nice bonus!!!that is a trip i definitely cannot wait for!
*contented sigh*...finally. it's so nice to have things going well for me for once!
