Congratulations. Your work "Haunted" has been
selected for inclusion in the 2007 issue of bordertown.
Yaay, one of my poems got selected to be put into my college's literary magazine XD. Out of the ones I submitted, I didn't expect them to choose that one, but that just goes to show how much I know about poetry ^^;. *likes to write it anyway* It's silly, but I'm kind of proud, just because nearly the whole English department submits to it, and I got a poem in it XD.
I'm now a published poet, in one of the dorkiest ways XD.
I don't think I've posted that poem on mah LJ yet, so here it is, just 'cause ^o^:
"Haunted"

It was hauntingly beautiful,
that night that we called our own.
I want to hang onto this memory forever
but it always slips through my fingers.
That night that we called our own,
we were surrounded by glitters of the night
but it always slipped through my fingers,
and I can’t quite remember yours.
We were surrounded by glitters of the night
almost like sand in my eyes
but I can’t quite remember yours.
The more it comes back to me, the more I let go.
Like sand in my eyes
this memory I love brings pain.
