Don't Deny What You Feel
Today was awesome. Shane, Summer, and I went through our normal earlier morning schedule as usual. But this time once Summer was up, I got to sleep for an extra 20 minutes, I was so happy! Once I was up and running around Shane and I played another best 9 out of 10 games of pool. I lost miserably today, I only won 4 times. Shane was happy though, so it was all good.
Around 11:30 I started making a Bocca Burger and the first thing out of Shane's mouth was, "What smells weird?" I told him it didn't smell weird and that is was my burger. Then he proceeds to say, "I thought you were a vegetarian?" I told him yes I was but I was making a veggie burger. Then he told me that it just smelt different, and not in a bad way. After that I made the kids something to eat before we went to the pool. After they eat and we waited 30 minutes, like the superstition tells you too, we headed over to the pool. It was quite refreshing, especially with the tempeture of 101 degrees.
When we got back from the pool, everyone changed back into their normal cloths and we turned on the punkorama DVD again. Shane and Summer went through my crash course of How To Headbang. And all I have to say about that is Summer headbangs really good for an 8 year old. By 3:30 we were all really tired of jumping around to all of the songs on the DVD. So we sat down and watched MADE. Then once Karen was home and I updated her on everything, I went home.
Now I'm relaxing and listening to my wonderful cd's. Oh! And tomorrow I'm bringing my guitar over to the kids house, by the request of Shane. So we're going to have a ton of fun tomorrow.
