Crack, Snap... Woosh?

I have survived my first day of work. I spend most of my day phone RMT after RMT asking if they would like to receive a newsletter containing information about whiplash. After that I had my appointment with the Doc. He wants to start an "intensive treatment program" over the next few days. I did not expect an adjustment today, but there I was, face down in that horrible crinkly paper. The cracking of the back is pretty gross. I've had others do it before, but I still don't particularly care for it. The cracking of the neck is bordering on terrifying. I'm sure it's much more technical from the Doc's perspective, but from the lay-person's viewpoint (of the crinkly paper) it's just grab head and twist neck sharply to produce disgusting cracking and popping sounds. I think of it now and my stomach still flipflops. My lower back does feel better. My neck feels... strange. My head feels kind of floaty, like it's not quite attached to my spine, or like it's resting on seriously greased ball bearings. There's a bit of tension right at the base of my skull. The Doc said that tension was possible short term response to treatment. I have another adjustment on Wednesday.

Tomorrow I get to work from home, calling autobody shops about the same whiplash newsletter. After that is the 'Meet the Profs' event at the Grad Pub. Laurier-folk, please drop by for a chat and some wine.

And some humility before bed. I'm watching random fire dance videos on YouTube. I come across this guy and I'm pretty impressed. Then it gets to about 0:16 and he juggles one of his poi. Sweet mother of God! I think I'll keep pecking away at a 3-beat weave for now.
