Weekend Update
My mom & Hope came up to visit on Saturday. We played some Harry Potter Scene-It on Saturday afternoon while Nick ran to the store. Very good times! Then, we had tickets to the Sox game against the Blue Jays, so we went and enjoyed seeing the Sox win. It was a fireworks night, too, so that was fun.
Sunday, Nick & I woke up and prepared breakfast, complete with made-to-order omelets, chocolate chip pancakes, and fried potatoes. Mmm. After breakfast, we went to the Beach for some time in the water and on the sand. After the beach, we came home and cleaned up and they got back on the road to Springfield. Apparently, traffic was so bad on the highway that it took them over 5 hours to get home!! BOO!
My stepdad and brother decided that coming up here wasn't important to them, so they backed out. I'm over it.
I watched Ghost Rider, and Nick & I hung out last night before he headed back to the burbs to prepare for his final week at Camp Blackhawk.
This coming weekend, I am going camping at the Bong Recreation Area with Carrie & Elizabeth, and then we'll hit up the Renassaince Faire near Kenosha, Wisconsin before heading back.
AND IN ELEVEN DAYS, ELIZABETH & I ARE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!! HOLY HOLY HOLY!!!!
