Mood themes like whoa!

Jun 26, 2007 23:08

I've got a brand new mood theme for you guys, and I'm here to remind you about the old ones, too! There have been a lot of people friend the journal that probably haven't seen a lot of the mood themes I've done, so I wanted to make just a quick reminder post!

The new one is Pocahontas! I did a single character mood theme for her, as requested by belenenRead more... )

How do you change the mood theme to one of these? I've tried doing it before, and I never could figure it out....

You download the zip file with the pictures, then upload them to some sort of photo hosting site. I bet the 'scrapbook' feature on livejournal would work just fine, I personally use Photobucket. Then, go to http://www.livejournal.com/manage/ and click on "Mood Theme Editor". From there, it's pretty easy to create a new mood theme and upload all the pictures!

If you're uploading them individually into the Mood Theme Editor, you use the link that starts with "http". If you're posting the pictures directly somewhere, you use the one that starts with "

i figured it out!
photobucket has 4 options for links, and it's the DIRECT link.
thanks a lot!
snow white is also my fav princess, but she's tied for fav disney character with hyacinth from fantasia... so that brings me to another question: do you have any icons of hyacinth? i'd love an animated one.
do you have a mood theme for fantasia?

Aah, okay. Sorry! I forgot what it was called on there...

^_^ Yay for Snow White fans! Wow, how cool! I don't think I've ever met a real big Hyacinth Hippo fan! Unfortunately, I don't have any icons of her... I'll add it to my request list, though! I don't own a copy of Fantasia on DVD, which means I can't screencap it until I can borrow my parents copy which may not be until Thanksgiving, which is probably the next time I'm going home. I'll try to make some for you as soon as possible, though! Thanks so much for friending the journal- I really appreciate it!

awesome! i've never successfully requested and gotten an icon made, so i can't be too picky haha.

that brings me to more fan questions since i've never met another snow white fan, just seen possible ones at disney.
do you have a snow white costume? i always want one, but i'm never satisfied with how they fit or look. they're not EXACTLY like in the movie.
have you ever seen the snow white SHOW (!) at Disneyland? I can't wait to go there someday (AND ride the alice in wonderland ride!)
are you ever satisfied with the girls who play snow white at disney? are you picky about how snow white merchandise makes her look? (sometimes the eyes are weird or she looks too fat.) do you have any snow white pins? i have one lanyard dedicated to her stuff, and it isn't enough room.

and as for hyacinth, for some reason i see her in people all the time. not so much the attitude, but the appearance.

Aw, well, I promise to do some for you as soon as possible!

Yay for fan questions!

Okay, I don't have a costume yet, but I'm in the process of making one for Halloween! I have a friend who is a costuming major, and she's helping me make it EXACTLY like the movie. I'm the same way, I've seen them in stores, and online and stuff, but can never get them cause there's always something wrong with it. My main problem is always that the skirt is an insanely bright yellow where in the movie it's closer to white because it's so light. But all the material I picked out is really pretty (and almost perfect colors), and thus far it's looking really good. ^_^ I'll post pictures on my personal journal when I get it all done.

No, I haven't seen the show- when I went recently it was the Princess Fantasy Faire there instead of the Snow White show. I got to see her doing a storytelling thing, though. I am relatively picky about Snow Whites in the parks, but the the day I went, they had the BEST Snow White EVER. I had seen her on Disney ... )
