brrrrrrrrr!
wow it was really cold this morning. i had to guard and i accidentally got my feet wet. since i was wearing sneakers they stayed wet. this lady got in just after i got the covers off and she swam for two hours!!!! when she finally got out of the pool, my feet were sooo cold i could not feel them. i actually had trouble walking. i cant believe people would want to swim at 44 degrees. so what if the pool water is 87 degrees. now since we open at 41 degrees instead of 50 degrees guarding in the winter really sucks. they sure did not consider the guard when they changed the rule. there was even a wind chill warning in effect this morning. it was something like 35 degrees with the wind. my hands are still cold (three hours later). oh well. at least there is no school today.
