it is a fact that most of the people who voted for nader were people who would not have voted in the election at all. what i mean by this is that, that is a one percent that would not have voted in the election at all if nader wasnt part of it. nader was the only person that saw their point of view and therefore he was the best candidate for them. it is probably not true that those who voted for nader would have voted for kerry. they probably would not have voted at all. therefore that is an insignificant one percent in this matter. think about it. that one percent deffinetely would not have voted for bush because he is so anti everything nader. they are not at all related. republicans would not have voted for nader just to ensure that kerry loses votes because that is a pointless step. they would have just voted for bush so that the republicans got that extra vote. and democrats would not have voted for nader if they were die hard for kerry because then they would know that they are not helping kerry or nader, just hurting them (maybe they would if they were in a state that was sure to be democratic, like MA). those democrats would have voted for kerry and not nader in that case. therefore, there is no way that "a vote for nader is a vote for bush" because those voted would not have been cast for either of the other cndidates if nader wasnt there. do you see what im saying?
