AWA 2007
So me and Tamara went to Atlanta last weekend for Anime Weekend in Atlanta. I was a little afraid of going, cause I've never done the entire three-solid-days-of-conventioning before, but now I'm glad that I went, cause it was a lot of fun (and the homework load was managable).
So, the entire convention was crowded like crazy (especially on Saturday). It was so weird seeing people fighting to rush into the Dealer's room when it opened at 10:00. Even stranger was seeing one of my professor's dressed up as Hello Kitty:
^I've been waiting to see that costume for a year now, and was a little dissappointed to see that my picture turned out blurry. Oh well, T_T.
^ Ming, Wei, and their friend Kay (uh...I think that was her name). Not sure who they were cosplaying (I think it's from a manga that's not available in the US yet). Anyway, one of their friend's from China made those coats for only $20. :o

There were tons more costumes, but a lot of them came out really blurry. And the rest I didn't take pictures of cause they were from stuff I didn't care about. Anyway, they had a doll meet at the convention, so of course I had to attend. I didn't have Nell with me cause, honestly, I knew she was going to be a pain to carry around. And I would be devastated if something happened. So she stayed at home, and I had fun without her. They had a little flea market thing at the end of the meet, and I ended up getting a pair of courdory pants for her (for super cheap too!) The lady I bought them from was trying to get rid of a ton of doll clothes. Seriously:

^Gorgeous Tensiya Hound! His faceup was so pretty; and his owner was so kind even though I asked her a bunch of questions about Tensiya. ^^;
On Sunday, we finally got a table (for free and not for the $40 bucks they wanted to charge us -_-). I managed to sell some stickers and a print. My grand total was $10.50 (and that was only after about two hours of selling!). I wish we could have stayed a little longer, but we had to leave early due to the homework that was waiting for us back in Savannah. No worries though, cause I finished everything in time for class the next day. That's all for now!
