*sigh*
Yeah so for the last month I've been in online dating. I was just doing it as a 'whatever' thing. Then I met this guy and we had a connection. We were asking interesting questions back and forth and it was really awesome. And we were talking about what we would do together if it made it that far. It just opened up a world of going places with another person (I'm used to going everywhere by myself or my mom.) Then suddenly out of the blue he stopped IMing first and I asked him what he did over the weekend and he said nothing. I joked and said he could have come on and talked to me. He said that he wouldn't go on during the day. Then he said that he honestly wasn't used to talking over the internet. I told him that I'd call him. Then it was STRANGE he was like "no, we'll do that soon enough" (wtf? he wanted to call me the first night we were talking.) Then the next two days I didn't IM him and he didn't IM me either. So I emailed him and asked him what the hell his problem was. He never answered back. So that was a huge let down. So now I'm interested in really trying to get a boyfriend (I never gave two shits before.) So I filled out eharmony and match.com and singlesnet.com Now... there's a big problem with the first two sites. There looks like really nice guys on there but dude... I cannot, I just cannot pay 50 or 40 dollars for ONE month. It causes me physical pain to pay that much money for something that's not guaranteed and plus I'm not even sure I want! So why am I posting this? Because I was reading a guy's profile on eharmony (and he had nudged me to respond) and I really would like to talk to him (he's pretty close) but damn... it's 50 dollars for ONE month. It's just...... ridiculous! A friend of mine actually met her boyfriend on eharmony and is like "Well you want a b.f you'll pay." I CAN'T PAY 50 dollars for a date! That's just --- like I said it HURTS to pay that much for ANYTHING.
