life is good
Today at work, I vacuumed mold off of NC state auditor's records from the 1960s and 70s. I got to wear a lab coat and gloves and use special tiny vacuum attachments and everything. Vacuuming mold. This is not complicated or glamorous. And yet, I really like being a librarian :)
In other news, in celebration of my imminent move to Denver (yeeeeee!), I would like to share these lines from James Michener's Centennial with you:

Yes. I am so excited, and thankful at this news, and it hasn't really completely sunk in yet, either. I was ready to accept whatever path God wanted to set me on. I just didn't know he'd give me exactly what I wanted!!
