John dropped me off at work today so he could have the car.  He had been dismissive last night, but was in a better mood today.  At lunch, Rose said that we were so cute, how we hugged and kissed as we parted.  She said she was lucky to get a handshake with her husband.  She can be sweet at times.

I heard my boss talking to his boss about not having enough work.  With me working about 60 hours a week, I was quick to offer my services to that accord.  So Monday he said he would take on a couple of my difficult projects that have had to sit in the wings while I try to keep up with the daily requirements.  It will be a relief to get them off of my desk, and I am sure he can handle them.

Although John had gone to the driving range in the high temperatures, I was able to finally talk him into driving to the Loxahatchee Wildlife Preserve.  We saw maybe 15 alligators.  A guy fishing nearby said they were not aggressive and that they were probably hoping for handouts from people.  There were not many people when we arrived, but it started filling up as the sun started to set.  John was glad to have been there, and I was glad to have been able to share it with him at last.

Now to check out the slack tide schedule so I can match it with the weather prediction for tomorrow.
