And my vacation offically begins. A MONTH OFF THAT IS NOT SICK LEAVE! And no, I'm not on maternity, disability, personal/family crisis, fabricated catastrophe/Act Of God or any other type of medical leave.
I plan to spend a significant amount of time in my hammock. Due to the fact I'm looking for another job and deciding on course registration, I need to stay in a reasonable distance of home... but I am still checking last-minute travel specials. Since the recent random stabbing / decapitation / cannibalisim on Greyhound I'm thinking that pretty much leaves train (VIA doesn't go through my city), and plane.
In other news, the other day a moose was running loose through campus and had to be tranquilized and removed by Fish and Wildlife. LOL. Sometime I'll tell the story of the time I was running through a wooded path on campus and came within a couple feet of running smack into the flank of a deer standing across the path. It scared the shit out of me. And the deer judging from how it bolted.
And... have you ever had to make a decision in which the decision is made but you're putting off actually doing it because tearing off the band-aid is going to be pretty awful and you're still clinging to the hopes that some miracle will happen no matter how miniscule the odds or racking (and I mean stretching to the point of a transparent layer of Silly Putty about to tear) your brain for a less painful solution? Ugh, some decisions don't get easier.... but that's life :) You need some drama! to keep it interesting.
And
hannagreen20, we need to discuss your new 'hobby'!
