the ice burn on my hand is starting to hurt again. i'm starting to get worried. but then again, it might be because the blistered popped at frisbee yesterday.
so we had an interesting conversation tonight in the parking lot outside the stadium after the game. Tina's car is named Cicero. Shanaya's car is named Scary Spice. and Daniel's car is not a person. so then we had to decide what my car's name is. we talked for the longest time and no name that came up clicked in my mind to be "my car." among the names mentioned were: the hulk, lizard, doc connors, john, paul...
anyways, Daniel finally said you have to feel it. drive it around. well, i do drive it around. in fact, i have been for the past couple of years. but it hasn't revealed to me its name yet. so Daniel was like, "then it's a nobody. just like Odysseus when he was captured by the cyclops. (odysseus told the cyclops he was Nobody, so when he stabbed the cyclops in the eye and the cyclops was yelling "nobody stabbed me!" all the other cyclops were like "stop complaining then.") and then daniel connected odysseus with the main character in "oh brother where art thou?" so now i'm considering the name Everett. that'll be my task for this spring break. to see if the name Everett sticks.
