Icon Meme / Geo Timing Round 2 / Filming Is On

First, a meme courtesy of lil_twitty_1.

Reply to this post, and I will tell you my favourite userpic/icon of yours.
Then post this to your own journal using your own favourite userpic/icon.

This Buster userpic, "Yelling, Yawning," is my favorite. The violet spotlight and blurred shadows really make this 3D icon shine. It's my favorite and hard to believe I made it! So yea, I guess I have a little artistic skill. Who knows :)

So in my last entry, I believed my Geo was back up to snuff and things were back to normal. I noticed immediately that I wasn't getting the performance out of the car that I was used to. It transitioned roughly from first to second gear and the rapid acceleration was gone. It also drank gas like the world were ending. Yesterday, my dad and I once again popped the hood open and re-timed the engine by rotating the distributor. That did it! Apparently, when I set the timing myself last week, I did it wrong and made the engine perform too weakly. I was only following the book, but I guess my car is a little different. So, now, officially the Geo is back up to where it was before the belt failed in mid-December.... Although it still seems to be drinking gas like it were going out of style. Maybe it's just a fluke... Time will tell.

My brother, Ryan, and his girlfriend of several years, Emily, have broken up. I'm only mentioning it here as a footnote since 1) I don't know a lot about the whole situation and it's not really my place to generalize about it as well as 2) I'm sure Ryan wouldn't appreciate me spending much journal-space on his love-life. I guess the breakup was a long time in coming, though. It kind of reminds me of my breakup with Jaci in that the relationship seemed to simply end after a very long, powerful time together. Those long-term relationships... They're tough to get over.

This coming weekend, I'm finally getting off my butt and filming my movie for On The Lot. I've only got another two weeks before the deadline, but I'm fairly confident that I can get a 5-minute short done. I mean, how long could it take? Plus, this weekend looks to FINALLY be perfect weather for my shoot. It's supposed to be partly cloudy, which is perfect. The sunset will be red and blue, I can't wait. It's gonna rock... I just need to get ready myself (I'll probably end up acting in it).
