I never know what to write in the subject line
I taught Kitagawa-san yesterday.

One of my students saw Yamapi. HOW UNFAIR?!?!
Story:
She was in Tokyo last year with her daughter. They went to the train station very early to go somewhere (didn't catch that part, didn't much care). And there were all these PEOPLE and it was clearly a film crew and they were being redirected. Her daughter grabbed her arm and pointed, saying "that's Yamashita-kun!" She didn't really know who he was, but they tried to take pictures. Obviously the film crew told them off and didn't let them.
So I tried to figure out what they were filming. I thought train = Daite Senorita PV? But my student said, no, they told us it was for the opening sequence of a dorama (well, she didn't say sequence, but that's what she meant). And then she said, "his hair was like this" and made a motion like bangs sweeping in front of her face and... YEAH. KUROSAGI. WHAT.
"He looked really cool."
*JEALOUSJEALOUSJEALOUS*
On a completely vaguely different topic, I think I need to go on a Shige scanning spree this weekend, because hi. There are more Shige fans out there? O_O
Sadness, though, because I had this conversation at our New Years party:
Student: Who's your favorite member of KAT-TUN? Kamenashi-kun? Akanishi-kun?
Me: Ueda Tatsuya.
Student: *blank look* Who?
Me: Um. Official leader? Er... *thinking how do you describe Ueda to someone who has no clue* He's pretty?
Student: ...okay. So... how about NewS, then. Who's your favorite member in NewS?
Me: Kato Shigeaki.
Student: ...?
Me: *shakes head and laughs* Why are you asking me when you don't know any of the people besides Yamashita?
Student: *laughing* Good point.
Ueda.
Shigeeeeee. :(
And the rest of you.
You poor, poor guys. No one knows you. :(
It's like when my manager saw a poster of Maru and Koki and said "oh, they're the ugly ones." D: But she can't recognize Ueda and Junno as being part of KAT-TUN at all. I don't know if it's better to be known as the "ugly ones" or better to be entirely unknown.
On the plus side, NEWS CONCERT. I am going. I am joining the fanclub tomorrow. I will get tickets. I. WILL. GO.
Also, I might possibly be going to a GLAY concert in two weeks, but I'm not really sure. I'd have to leave work early and that's... difficult, to say the least. We'll see.
