My Attempt At Something That Might Be Considered A Real Entry

Happy Holidays to everyone! :D
A quick review, in no particular order, of some things I've done in the past week or two.
-Party! Our work party kind of turned into a dance party somehow, but that was kind of fun and crazy. Did not mind. Also, I made trifle for the first time ever. I actually managed to mostly find the right ingredients, and it turned out about as close to my mom's trifle as I could make it. SO YUMMY!

-More party! Christmas Day lunch was at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, and whoa, fancy French food or something. The type of dishes I cannot pronounce. Also a lot of wine.

-Even more party! After lunch was karaoke and cookies and cake and more wine. And presents! :D It was awesome!

-There was roller skating! Oh, man, SO FUN. I didn't really think I could, because the last time I went (a few years ago), I couldn't. But apparently I can, and it is AWESOME. I want to do it over and over and over and... yeah. FUN! Also we got cool glow bracelets. :D

-Purikura. You saw some of those already I think.
-More presents! And candles! Chanukah candles! I ran out after the first night and my next shipment hasn't arrived, so I've being doing it ooooooold school with oil and handmade (read: paper towel) wicks.
-Shopping! I bought 5 pairs of boots the other day. Yes, five. I KNOW. Um. Also deco-deco stuff for my phone, because clearly I have been in Japan too long. Only did part of it so far. And a table! And new hair accessories! And... okay, really, I haven't been THAT bad. I've been rather good, honestly. I think that's about all. AND THE BOOTS WERE SUPER CHEAP, OKAY. DON'T JUDGE.
-Am going to try wearing a ring again. I miss them. Have to decide if I want to keep on my claddagh or the one my bro made for me.
-Made takoyaki for the first time. With no tako. *lol* Also made a butterfly okonomiyaki.

Oh yes! Saw an absolutely spectacular lunar eclipse!
And did Christmas/Chanukah nails!

And um. What else? Idk, I've been crazy busy, it feels like, but in a good way. Lots of fun! :D
Today was lots of food. *lol* As usual. Miso nabe. I tried motsu and I liked it, surprisingly! Also, parfaits and pancakes. :x OOPS. I'll be good tomorrow, yup yup.

Oh! Btw, people keep trying to add me on twitter. My username there is yeska_noka if you want the fandom flail, and snowqueenofhoth if you want real life, which is mostly bitching about trains and picspam of food. Just a heads up that the real life one is locked, and I'm not likely to give permission to people I haven't met and/or don't know. No warnings on the fandom one, other than the usual crazy. Also real life is busy busy, so I basically just check my @s for the most part.
I swear there was more, but there you go. Small snippets of daily life. :)
