(no subject)
Went to a party last weekend... so out of my character. Crowds and only knowing 2 people there, is always rough on me, but glad I went.
Met Timothy's new girlfriend who was not at all what I would expect. But she's sweet and nice and shockingly was very concerned with making the best impression on me she could. Spent a good deal of time talking with her.
Not sure why she'd really care what I thought or be at all concerned with what impression I left with, but it was a good one.
Also met a couple new people who I think could be friends, was great to have conversations like I used to have, and get into detailed long talks with people. At one point I was somewhat the center of attention in the conversation, when it went to topics I was extremely well versed in. And was even told a couple times to hold what I had to say till people got back, extremely flattering.
It was clear I've also been playing too much assassin's creed... found myself moving through the crowd thinking about blending and how to move smoothly, more so than normal. Bleed effect ftw? >.>
And I tried something I've been considering for awhile with my beard.
Actually got a couple nice compliments on it. Did wonders for my self esteem. That was great.
Over all it was a pretty good night.
