Character name: Itegami
Fandom: Okami
Timeline: After the end of the game
Age: 100+ (Actual age: Unknown)
~*Magical*~ abilities and strengths: He's the Celestial Brush God of Blizzard (also known as the Frost God). Basically, this means he has the ability to manipulate ice (Blizzard) and call forth some pretty awesome ice storms (Ice Storm) that are used to freeze/harm enemies. It tends to cost a lot of ink to use Ice Storm so he tends to just default to Blizzard 9 times out of 10. This is why you should always carry extra Inkfinity Stones on your journey, kids.

He's pretty strong in his Oxen form and won't second thought trampling over someone if they wind up in his path. And those horns? Yeah, they're pretty long and pretty sharp. It would be bad to get skewered on them (because guilty ox would forever be guilty unless they were a demon...).

Can also understand animals given the fact he's a god and takes the form of an Ox.

Also speaks with a voice that totally contradicts his human appearance - but at least it fits the ox one.

How would they use their abilities?: Mainly to help other people if they are in need of some sort of aid; despite being a hermit, he still wants to help people out every now and then. Secondary use would be to troll mess around with demons since he has a pretty big hateon for them.

Appearance:

OXEN
[ Image Reference Here ]
Big, white and a bit on the fluffy side. Itegami, like Amaterasu and the other Brush Gods, has red marking that cover various parts of his body - they're a symbol of his godhood. Whether or not a person is able to see the markings, however, completely depends on if someone is spiritually incline or not (read: believes in a God/the Gods vs. someone who doesn't believe in them or think they exist). He has rather aggressive looking black eyes with a bit of a cold gaze, a nose ring, and rather large, pointy blue horns. Oh, yeah, he also has a rather large conch shell slung around his neck and a powder blue scarf over his back.

HUMAN
[ Image Reference ONE TWO THREE]
He looks younger than the twenty-something despite just how much he tries, though it might just be due to all the baby fat his human appearance seems to hold. He's about 5'8" in height (not including his boot, since they're flat-heeled), has silver-white hair, and wears clothing that is more or less suitable for the chilly environment of Kamui. Despite the overall human appearance, he still has the red markings on his body (rules of 'People Who Can See Markings' still apply here) and a smaller, not-so-pointy version of his blue horns. I have no idea where his nose ring went, though.

Background/Personality:

HISTORY
One hundred years ago there was wolf dubbed Shiranui by the villagers of Kamiki. This wolf engaged in a bloody battle with the feared, eight headed demon known as Orochi on the night of Kamiki's festival. The battle raged on for hours, full of endless fighting and Shiranui having received many wounds; it seemed as if this battle was coming to an end and it would be with Shiranui's loss. However, just as Orochi was to deal the final blow, Shiranui howled to the dark sky and summoned the moon. By doing so, this gave Nagi, whom had come to Orochi's stronghold dressed as the sacrificial maiden, a new strength - a stronger strength - that allowed him defeat and seal Orochi with the sword known as Tsukuyomi.

The victory came at a price: Shiranui's death; quiet, slow - she passed away back in Kamiki Village, where the villagers would build a shrine to honor her brave deeds. After her death, Shiranui's brush skills were scattered all across Nippon and the Brush Gods would await for her return for 100 years, when she - known as Amaterasu - would be called upon once again to fight the evil that tormented the land.

And this is where Itegami's story comes in:

Scattered from the other Brush Gods, Itegami was sent to the cold lands of northern country known as Kamui. He would live out his life peacefully there for a few years, until the demons found a new power and darkness (and fear) would spread across the lands of Nippon and Kamui once again. Countless years before Orochi's reawakening and Sakuya's call to Amaterasu, the Frost God was captured and enslaved by the evil covering the summit known as Ezofuji.

It is there that he would be forced to bring forth an extreme blizzard upon the land, causing the temperature to slowly decline from cold to freezing and harm the land with his powers. There was little he could do the get free from evil's strong grasp.

"Oh, our Merciful Mother, Okami Amaterasu...
While you were gone from us, I came to this spiritual summit where I was captured and enslaved by evil.
My soul weeping, I unwillingly tarnished the land's flowers. Now, after an eternity of snowfall, the Frost God is free again,
with the power to present you with a frozen world of absolute zero temperatures. We, the thirteen gods that fell from you,
gather before you now to offer up our powers that we might dispel all evil!"

One hundred years pass and when Amaterasu makes her way to Kamui and the summit of Ezofuji, putting a stop to the machine that was causing such pain and agony to the people and creatures living there, it is then that Itegami is freed from his shackles and is reunited, once again, with the God of the Sun and grants her the power of Blizzard - as well as bestowing upon her the Divine Instrument known as the Solar Flare to use in the final battle against Yami the Fetus in a Ball Emperor of Eternal Darkness.

add in; After all of that, Itegami found himself on a spaceship-- the S.S. Thor-- where he wasn't all that talkative or friendly to many people. Well, unless they were Amaterasu or his immediate (and close) family. At one point he got bored enough that he found a little area of the ship to call his own and made it snow there. While it might not have been as good as Kamui, nor did it even resemble it, it was still a little area he could take comfort in residing during those weeks days he wants to be alone.

Time passes, Ite makes a few friends and seems to open up a little more to people. But then he goes and winds up getting sucked into a wormhole. Good going, you dumb ox. IT SENDS HIM HOME...but now he's back on Thor to make it snow some more. And kuudere the place up awyeah.

PERSONALITY
Itegami is a bit of a hermit, in a sense, given the fact that he had chosen to reside in Kamui - a land to the far north of Nippon - as opposed to the land that the other brush gods took to waiting on.

His personality is also rounded by the fact that he was basically enslaved by demons and evil for nearly one hundred years of his life. He knows little about trust and lived a rather painful existence for that time - forced to tarnish a land that he would much rather be protecting. Due to this, he does not socialize much and is a bit awkward when doing so. His first meeting with Amaterasu after a hundred years had passed, after all, initiated with him charging at her. Whether this was out of surprise, distrust and shock or for another reason entirely is unknown (and only known to himself).

He takes to being silent a majority of the time and is the type who would rather watch others rather than socially interacting with them. But when he does have to speak with someone or interact with them, especially if they are a stranger or someone he doesn't trust? It becomes awkward and full of small responses, little answers and short sentences here and there on his end. He does his best to avoid anything that would end in a fight or may have the hint of turning into something immature (a verbal battle, in example) and opts to show his feelings through expression and body language rather than actual words.

It's rather hard to figure out just what he is thinking half the time, too, with the blank-calm poker face he keeps up as a mask.

However, being a stoic prude is not all that there is to him. When it comes to his family or those close to him - especially those that reside in the land that he took to protecting - he becomes fiercely protective. He shows a caring side towards the other brush gods, even if some of them have a bit of a rocky relationship with him due to personalities clashing. One might even find him giving the faintest hint of a smile to them, as well. And these rare but little smiles are also given to those who find themselves able to wheedle their way through all of his defenses and walls and get themselves placed in his Circle of Trust.

It's also relatively hard to upset him; however, when the line is crossed, a person just better be hopeful that he is not in his oxen form when the anger levels rise and boil over. An upset ox can be a rather frightening sight, after all; especially when there are sharp, blue horns that can leave rather lasting damage coming straight at a person. Rage and anger can blind a person and Itegami is no exception. So it would be best if people did not try to harm his family (especially Amaterasu) or those that he would begin to grow close with.

Why should that character be in this game: For OCs only.

Why do you want to continue their history here: For characters from other games only.

For applicants considering an alternate version of a character already in game, please use this as your chance to explain the key differences between your character and the one already in play:

Have you read up on how the game works?: Flaming Ferret. Characters gets money through missions but get a starter amount o'cash until they can get themselves a job. If they don't wanna work they can play the roll of The Mooch Master and bum money and other essential type stuff off of a castmate or friend. They can also take it up a level by crowning themselves King Douche Supreme and do douchetastic things for money - such as becoming a bully and demanding lunch money from whatever nerds cross their path, or even just going all sticky fingered pickpocket ninja on someone's wallet.

1st person sample: [At first, there's nothing but static being broadcast. Then it stops. It's almost as if the device had been turned off on the other end; but after a minute or two there's the sound of boots on metal and the background voices of a number of nameless people.

It's followed by a rather familiar sigh as the device's video feed is finally turned on.]

Mm... [Ite stares down at the camera with that usual blank expression of his before he looks away.] But I already filled out all of the paperwork. I do not see the point in having to do it over again...

3rd person sample: It was odd but maybe it had all been a dream; it was the only explanation that Itegami could plausibly think of. He could have sworn that before he found himself in the new arrivals area that he had felt the familiar touch that belonged only to Kamui's snow and the familiar scent that was carried on its chilly winds.

But there was no way that it could be.

Even if the date on the little desk calendar seemed to be saying the wrong date Itegami and the woman behind the counter really did not seem to want to hear about his silly little stories of "but I have been here this entire time so there is no way that ... wh-what do you mean that I disappeared for a short period of time?"

How absurd!

Had the aliens here gotten a little more crazy since he last recalled? Maybe it could all just be chalked up to having to deal with so many new arrivals and people so much that they were getting people mixed up. That really did seem like the only thing that could keep Itegami - the usually kindhearted, if not cold, Frost God - from sending the giant bundle of papers right back into the face of the not-taking-any-shit-from-anyone receptionist's lap.

But instead he had took the paperwork with a frown and a quiet "uuu" beneath his breath.

Questions?: Pepsi or Coke?
Did you put your characters name and fandom in the subject: Of course, of course.
