still feeling yucky about dave blood's death and have all day today. he seemed like a really nice person. i remember reading an interview with rodney anonymous where he said that when he and dave first became friends and moved in together, someone broke into their apartment and stole $100 from rodney and dave wrote a letter pretending to be the burglar and put in a hundred dollars and wrote that he was sorry for taking the money and felt bad so he was giving it back. neither had any money at the time and rodney found out somehow that it was dave who did that.
in other news. i left the house today. i went to the drugstore and picked up some more film and plan on going out tonight and taking some pics of things in my town. i also finally went and got my blood taken out and can't believe how much i was dreading it because it was no big deal at all and hardly hurt, just a little pinch. it was weird being in that hospital. i hadn't been there since i was a little kid and it reminded me so much of being little and going there. my father worked there for a while when i was a kid. also it was a bit difficult for me to try and find out where i was supposed to go and kept being told to go down the hall and take a right or left. hospitals are kind of depressing. so many old people and people just sitting around and everyone is quiet and you're wondering if they are there for some minor reason or because maybe something really crappy happened to someone they know and they are just really sad or something.
i'm going to start trying to be more happy about things, like in a cartoon happy kind of way if i could. i want to be a cartoon character. maybe even get a certain outfit and get like ten of the same thing so i can wear the same thing every day like a cartoon character. and try to have a one track mind about things instead of worrying about a million things like how i do.
and i want to start writing again. i've had an idea for a story and want to get some of that down on paper. one of the character's is going to be a prostitute or escort and i kind of want to know a little more about that line of work for the character but have no clue how to really go about that. i don't think i can go bug prostitutes on the street to find out more about their work or the business side of it.
