why is it so much easier to fall into a 'bad' sleep cycle than to stick to a 'good' one?

after sleeping at late hours (late by my sec sch/jc standards i guess...) for the hols, i finally managed to sort of get used to sleeping at say 11pm or so (or at least start getting ready for bed at 11), and waking up at say 7+ (earlier if i have 8am lesson, or later if it's a non-school-day)... BUT over this midterm break, i've fallen right back into a sleep at 1+ or 2am, and wake up at 9am sort of schedule... thankfully it isn't a wake-up-at-10am thing like it used to be in the hols, but still... i hope i can go sleep early tmr night! so that by sun night, i can fall asleep early, and wake up early, so i won't be late for my midterms on monday...

can't believe it took me barely 1 week to get rid of a sleep cycle that i've stuck to for the past 6 weeks. sheesh.

(and i find it super funny how i've managed to tag so many entries about 'sleep'... i thought maybe 'food' would be tagged more? or 'life', which is logical since every minute of my life can be classified as 'life'... maybe i just don't have interesting enough stuff to say haha! or maybe i'm too obsessed with trying to get enough sleep or something o.O)
