This started out as a light-hearted fluff piece. Somehow it mutated, as they tend to do when they are in my hands. In any case, here is to the author who wrote a lot of the K/S that I had immensely enjoyed: t_hy_la's request in st_xi_kink fulfilled: At the end of the movie, Jim seriously looks like he's going to take off for space with no first officer until Spock

Ahem. But really, gorgeous stuff. It's kind of haunting. I loved the film for putting another layer on Kirk-- he seems a little too happy for my liking in TOS-- so this was pure genius.

1. K&S aren't having sex because this writer, for more than a decade by now, has never been able to write the actual act of full-blown sex in any language. /fail

2. I enjoyed the new angst possibilities depth the XI film brings to Kirk as well. I've been meaning to write about his feelings for his father for a while now.

3. I'm very happy to hear that you enjoyed my stories. I read your Sixth Time Lucky and loved the different approach in it. Haughty!Spock and Unsure!Kirk is such win. <3
