At the ER....Yet Again
So here I sit...with Satia to keep me company...waiting to see what the diagnosis is.
Started having some pain in the lower left quadrant of my back on Monday morning. Of course I thought it was muscle issues due to my job. By yesterday (Tuesday) morning the pain had moved into the left quadrant of my abdomen. It literally felt as though someone was dragging a rake across my insides. I made it through work because if I had called out I would have lost my holiday pay...cheap ass company...and hoped that if I relaxed it might go away.
I had already suspected that it might be a kidney stone because of the location and severity of the pain. But I'm stubborn and didn't really want to spend my day off in the ER. But my daughter decided I really needed to go so here I am.
I have had blood work, urine sample, CT scan and rays...now I need results so I can go home! I...as well as Satia....am HUNGRY!!!!
