The wench who runs things at Clara's reneged on her offer to give me my job back. I was very mad at her yesterday for this.
But today I biked the 5.5 (googled it) miles to a cafe that's hiring and turned in an application there.
Then biked to Old Town.
Then biked to campus. Wandered into Barnes and Noble and they had a help wanted sign so I filled out an application.
While filling out an application, the manager from El Azteco called me to schedule an interview for tomorrow.
I talked to the manager of Barnes and Noble when I turned in the application, and literally 3 minutes after I left he called me to set up an interview tomorrow.
So I have two interviews for summer jobs tomorrow. And I realized that I won't have to work in that shithole known as Clara's this summer.
I'm not exactly sure whether I'd rather work at the book store or the restaurant.
The bookstore would be less stressful, but less money.
The restaurant would put me in close working contact with a lot of Spanish speakers, but probably have me working really shitty hours.
I guess we'll see how the interviews go.
Nothing like getting two degrees to choose between waiting tables or stacking books.

I've decided to spend my birthday in Lansing. The 19th there's a co-op party so I'm just going to go to that.
My actual birthday I think I might check out the solstice jazz festival in Old Town or just go to the Peanut Barrel.
I could probably be convinced to do something in A2 or Ypsi on the 18th but nothing crazy.
I am not excited about turning 24.
