1. Occultism. Meaning literally the study of hidden things. One's own mind can be a good example of things--there's always something to be found when you dive deep within. And on a broader scale, studies of human beings and how they live and shape the universe, possible correspondences, magic, etc...
2. Onanism! If you can't please yourself in bed, who can?
3. Optimus Prime. I LOVE HIM. Cartoon love is forever.
4. Ontology. I.e. the study of the nature of being and the world itself. People wondering what the life, the universe and everything is all about, and the various views on all that. Studying people's ideas of the world is fascinating in itself, sometimes far more interesting than raising those questions yourself.
5. Omnibus media. I'm a sucker for compilations of various writers' works. They're like supersize candy for the bookworm.
6. Oral fixation. Blake has it. Ten has it. This makes for plenty of delightful squee and mountains of fannish smut. It is A Good Thing.
7. Otherworld. A concept which Susan Greenwood, scholar and Wiccan priestess, argues is the one defining concept between various Pagan denominations and individuals. Most often it's the creation of sacred space and the state of nonordinary consciousness. I'm still in the middle of reading that particular book, but it is fascinating--dude, Pagan anthropology in proper scientific context and from an insider! Win!
8. Oldfield Park. The most student-y part of Bath, where I live. A place of contradictions. I'm still finding my way around it.
9. Orgasms. The closest a human being can get to The Big Bang. Happiness and ecstatic love at *whatever* can be orgasmic at its best. Compare geekgasm, fangasm, pirategasm, etc...
10. Openmindedness. A necessary survival tool to get along with things and people who are wildly different from you. Best used in moderation and with a good sense of humour. Because the world is one weird place, it is. And there's nowt as queer as folk.
